VEGETABLES, HERBS & FRUITS
Some of the vegetables & fruits we are growing this year include: Beets, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Chard, Sugar Snap Peas, Mixed Lettuce & Salad Greens, Carrots, Turnips, Artichokes, Cucumbers, Red & Green Cabbage, Onions, Potatoes, Garlic, Green Beans, Shell Beans, Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, Summer & Winter Squash, and Pumpkins. This year we were able to find a seed supplier for one of the most delicious of all root vegetables - the Cape Turnip, also known as the White Rutabaga, Eastham Turnip and the Macomber Turnip.

This year we're growing several varieties of Basil, Rosemary, Oregano, Mint, Thyme, Parsley & Chives. In 2005 we planted several varieties of Asparagus, Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries and Rhubarb as well as a variety of winter-hardy Kiwifruit!

We hope to be able to harvest enough asparagus and blueberries for our own use this year (YUM!) and to have them available in another year or two for sale, as they take several years to get established.

We recently acquired a small orchard full of neglected Gala apple trees, and after another year or two of proper care, will have these beautiful apples available for sale.
